چکیده
Stem cell (SC) therapy is one of the most promising methods clinical medicine. Although stem cell-containing products are still being investigated in trials, some them already approved for treatment many countries. Therefore, modern medicine providing basic understanding SC subtypes, their properties and potential risks should be incorporated educational programs medical universities.
The aim this review to compare types, procurement, perspectives use.
cells can grouped according age donor organism. Embryonic SCs those isolated from blastocysts, obtained extracorporeal fertilization, cloning, semi-cloning or parthenogenesis (androgenetic gynogenetic SCs). Fetal embryonic fetal tissues before birth miscarriage abortion material (including ectopic pregnancies). include a special group perinatal extraembryonic SCs, which organs (umbilical cord, amnion, placenta) after birth; among hematopoietic, mesenchymal, epithelial decidual distinguished. Adult (somatic tissue specific) different adult organisms throughout life. Their depend on location donor. Additionally, induced pluripotent created artificially mature by modification gene expression. Every heterogenous has its advantages drawbacks analyzed review. Also considered application exosomes produced as an alternative cellular therapy.

Comparison of Characteristics of Human Amniotic Membrane and Human Adipose Tissue Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells
BACKGROUND Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are ideal candidates for treatment of diseases. Amniotic membranes are an inexpensive source of MSCs (AM-MSC) without any donor site morbidity in cell therapy. Adipose tissue derived stem cells (ASCs) are also suitable cells for cell therapy. There is discrepancy in CD271 expression among MSCs from different sources. In this study, the characteristics...
متن کاملCharacteristics of Human Endometrial Stem Cells in Tissue and Isolated Cultured Cells: An Immunohistochemical Aspect
Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the percentage of the stem cells population in human endometrial tissue sections and cultured cells at fourth passage. Methods: Human endometrial specimens were divided into two parts, one part for morphological studies and the other part for in vitro culture. Full thickness of human normal endometrial sections and cultured endometrial cells ...
متن کاملTransdifferentiation of Human Dental Pulp Stem Cells Into Oligoprogenitor Cells
Introduction: The nerve fibers in central nervous system are surrounded by myelin sheet which is formed by oligodendrocytes. Cell therapy based on oligodendrocytes and their precursors transplantation can hold a promising alternative treatment for myelin sheet repair in demyelinating diseases. Methods: Human Dental Pulp Stem Cells (hDPSCs) are noninvasive, autologous and easy available s...
متن کاملComparative Analysis of Mesenchymal Stem Cells Isolated from Human Bone Marrow and Wharton’s Jelly
Introduction: Bone marrow (BM) is a known source of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) that are used for cell therapy. This study attempts to identify if the Wharton’s Jelly (WJ) is a suitable substitute for BM as a source for MSCs. Materials and Methods: A population of human WJ and BM stem cells were isolated and incubated with fluorescein conjugated antibodies for five specific MSC markers....
متن کاملReprogramming by cytosolic extract of human embryonic stem cells improves dopaminergic differentiation potential of human adipose tissue-derived stem cells
The extract of pluripotent stem cells induces dedifferentiation of somatic cells with restricted plasticity. In this study, we used the extract of human embryonic stem cells (hESC) to dedifferentiate adipose tissue-derived stem cells (ADSCs) and examined the impact of this reprogramming event on dopaminergic differentiation of the cells. For this purpose, cytoplasmic extract of ESCs was prepare...
